LEVEL 1: MASTER YOUR CAMERA (ALL SUBJECTS, BEGINNERS)
Anybody nowadays has a camera with so many possibilities it makes you dizzy. If you just want to learn to make better use of your camera, without getting lost in technicalities, this workshop is for you! Travel, children, family, ceremonies, nature, portrait, etc : whatever your favourite subjects, you will learn how to make better pictures.
LEVEL 2: ENHANCEMENT AND CREATIVITY (NATURE, PORTRAIT, ETC)
Now that you know your camera, let’s go further! You’re going to make expressive photos, with a personal style. You will learn how best to use natural light, and also how to shape artificial lighting. You’ll understand how to work with a model. You’ll grasp the main creative tools of PhotoshopTM and how to make big enlargements. You will mainly use your own camera, but also try out some of my professional equipment, in the studio and outdoors.
LEVEL 3: BEAUTY, SENSUALITY, FEMININITY (FASHION, ARTISTIC NUDE, ETC)
You would like to shoot female models, but you may not have access to a studio, proper equipment or models. You can get all this, in the sumptuous setting of a 17th century manor house. You will work on setting the scenes, directing the model, using daylight and artificial lighting, enhancing with PhotoshopTM tools, and making large prints. We will also address copyright and image rights issues.
General workshop schedule:
- 9.30 am to 1 pm: getting used to the equipment and studio, setting our objectives, first shooting practice.
- 1 to 2.30 pm: lunch at the village inn.
- 2.30 to 5 pm: second shooting session.
